Good News

Our PCR testing clinic on conducted Sunday 24th April, we can report that we have had no further residents that have returned a positive result.

At this stage the below areas remain in Lockdown and still require an "exemption" to visit:

• Peter Top West and East

The below areas are not in Lockdown and "controlled" visits apply:

• Lower John Rowland
• Victoria Apartments
• Ken Stewart
• Lord Fraser
• Murphy

Any visits to the Facility require a booking, this can be done by calling reception on 62433100 during the hours of 8.30am - 4.30 pm.

• Sonic has advised that a further testing clinic will be held on Wednesday 27th of April.
• Residents that have recently recovered will not be tested again for 12 weeks as per Public Health recommendations.
• Residents in the non affected wings are able to walk freely in the corridors wearing a face mask and can continue to have "controlled visits".

Reminder

• Any COVID positive results are always notified to family via phone call.
• Residents who have returned a negative result, the resident's representative has been contacted via SMS.

Catering Team cooked some home style anzacs today for all to share, the Leisure and Lifestyle Team have also been in to make sure that Anzac day was honoured. A Chapel Service is planned for tomorrow Tuesday 26 April 2022.

Kelly Moore Infection Prevention Clinical Lead along with the Aspen Team and myself continue to be on site with other team members ensuring that the residents and our staff are being well cared for during this Outbreak. Kind Regards
