Covid Updates

Facility Update 4th April 2022

We would like to thank you all for your ongoing cooperation and support during this current outbreak

Dear Residents, Families and Independent Living Unit Residents

.

Queen Victoria Care would like to inform you that following our full facility PCR testing which occurred on Sunday the 3rd April, we have had one resident return with a positive result.

The outbreak management team have met this morning and have made the decision to keep the facility closed to visitors at this time.

The closure of the facility to visitors is being reviewed on a daily basis by the outbreak management team.

We have continuously reviewing our outbreak management plan to ensure it is in line with all current guidelines.

We have a further meeting with Public Health and the Aged Care Emergency Operations Centre on Tuesday the 5th of April to discuss

We recognise this is a challenging time for families and friends, but we are committed to providing the latest information and updates, and alternative methods of connecting with your loved ones.

If you would like to apply for an exemption visit, please email covid@qvcare.com.au or ring reception on 62433100.

We thank the families and friends of our residents for their understanding and will continue to work and communicate closely together.

Yours sincerely,
Wendy Chamberlain
Acting Executive Manager Clinical Care
