Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we partner with our residents and families through the current outbreak.

Update from
Jacqui Marden
Acting CEO

I am delighted to advised that all residents have returned negative results for Covid-19.

Working together to ease restrictions within the Facility

We are now in the process of working with Public Health and the Aged Care Emergency Operations Team to ensure that we safely reopen the facility and minimise risks.

As of this week Residents are able to move freely about their home, and meals will commence being served in the dining areas. Staff have transitioned from full PPE to N95 masks and protective eye wear.

The team will continue to keep you and your loved ones connected with phone calls, video calls and messages, group activities have recommenced. We are planning on opening the café mid week with a booking system so you can get a coffee together this must be done safely.

Future visits
We will be welcoming visitors into the facility with the following requirements in place.

Visits are pre booked via zipline between the hours of 8.30 am – 4.30 pm, 7 days per week. This is so we can have a staff member available to concierge through the process.

  • We ask that you have the evidence of your double vaccination (with second dose at least 2 weeks prior to entry) available on entry. This may be your COVID vaccination certificate or the QVC COVID vaccination evidence card.
  • If you cannot provide vaccination evidence, you will be required to present a negative Rapid Antigen Test taken within 24 hours of the intended visit. The testing requirement applies to all persons, regardless of age, (except for infants under the age of 28 days) and there are no exemptions for a vaccine medical contraindication.

remain in place.

I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank Wendy Chamberlain, Outbreak Manager for her leadership and dedication and our staff for their outstanding job they have done through this very challenging time to ensure the safety of our Residents and one another.

We really want the residents to return to interactions and enjoy life again with in the facility. We are doing every thing we can to return to that life. If you can work with us to plan your visits so we can prevent further lockdown situations.
